A Wonderful Peach Tea to try
Happy Thursday to all. The week is almost over and we are all planning what we are going to do this weekend, where we are going and how we plan on spending our weekend off. I have been working on a few new recipes that I think you all will love.
I’m going to share today a recipe for peach tea. It is wonderful and it is a great drink for those hot lazy summer days when you want to just sit by the pool and enjoy the day off and time with family.
This is a recipe you can use any fresh fruit with use your imagination it’s a nice way to get just a little more fruit into your diet.
2 to 4 British blend or any black tea bags ( the number of tea bags depends on how strong you like your tea) 1 fully ripe peach Mint (optional)
In a pot bring about 2 quarts of water to a boil put in your tea bags and set aside to steep and cool. chop mint and put in small pot with about a quart of water and bring to a boil and set aside to cool and steep. Cut up your peach and take out the seed. Place in a blender with about 2 cups of warm water and purée blend until all your peach is puréed completely. Strain your tea and mint water add to a pitcher with sugar to your taste. Add in your peach purée and stir. That’s all enjoy! If you let your tea sit in the fridge over night the taste is so much better. Enjoy!
